Our office is right there in Kalyan East, tucked into the Asthami housing society. If you know the Puja Complex, we’re just across from it at F-9. It’s a typical Mumbai suburb vibe, always something happening outside the window. We handle a lot of financial paperwork and help folks with their accounts or loans. It gets quite crowded in the mornings when everyone is heading to the station, but by ten, we’re settled in. The office isn't huge, but we’ve got enough desks for everyone and a couple of fans that stay on all day because of the heat. We talk to a lot of people from the neighborhood who stop by to ask questions about their files. It’s mostly just us sitting at the computers, checking numbers, and making sure the records are right. Sometimes the internet is slow or a printer gets jammed, and we just deal with it. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. It’s just a front door and a few chairs for people to wait in. Most of the staff here have been with the company for a good few years, so we all know how the others take their tea. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living, helping people figure out their money stuff in a part of town that we’ve known forever. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
