Thanekar Stocks

We operate out of the Manpada area, which is a pretty busy part of the city, but we’ve managed to find our own rhythm here over the years. Thanekar Stocks is basically just a small, dedicated team of us working on market analysis and general finance tasks. The office space we have is fairly basic, with just the essential things like desks, chairs, and a few computer monitors that stay on for most of the day. It gets quite noisy outside with all the traffic passing through, but inside we just try to focus on the numbers and charts. We aren't some big, fancy firm from South Mumbai with a lobby and a view; we’re just local people doing our jobs every day. Most of the time, we are just looking at data or talking to people who stop by to ask questions about their personal investments. It can get a bit stressful when the markets are moving fast and the phones start ringing, but we try to keep a level head about it all. We don’t have a big marketing budget or some PR team writing fancy descriptions for us. I’m just writing this out because we needed something for the records. On rainy days, the commute to Manpada can be a real struggle with the waterlogging, but we show up anyway. We’ve known some of our clients for a long time, and it often feels more like a community than just a cold business transaction.
