Our place, Manbro Pharma Pvt. Ltd., is out in W/66, MIDC, Phase-II in Dombivli (East). Being in an industrial zone like MIDC means it’s not exactly a quiet neighborhood. There are factories all around us and the roads are always busy with heavy trucks and workers going back and forth. Our unit is a practical space, built for work rather than looking good for visitors. We spend most of our time in the back where the actual handling of things happens. The front office is small, just enough room for a couple of desks and a filing cabinet that’s seen better days. Dombivli East gets pretty hot, and the industrial sheds don't always stay cool, so we've got a few big industrial fans blowing all day long. We start our shift early to try and get the most done before the midday heat kicks in. There isn't much in the way of scenery, just other warehouses and the sound of machinery from the neighbors. We usually grab tea from a small cart that comes around twice a day. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We don't have any big corporate slogans or anything like that hanging on the walls. We just focus on the schedule and making sure the gate is locked properly at the end of the shift. Most of the guys here have been working in this MIDC area for a decade, so we all know the drill by now.
