Makhija Associates

Our office is situated over in Vitawa, which is a part of Thane that feels a bit different from the main city center. We are in the Shivdarshan Co-op Housing Society in Suryanagar. It is a residential area, so it’s not like those big industrial parks you see elsewhere. Makhija Associates has been operating out of here for a bit. The vibe is very local. You see kids playing in the society grounds sometimes while we are trying to sort through our daily tasks. The office itself is modest. We don’t have those fancy coffee machines or ergonomic chairs that cost a fortune. It’s just wooden tables and some old filing cabinets that have seen better days. We spend most of our mornings answering calls and writing things down. Since it’s a housing society, the neighbors know us, and we know them. Sometimes we have to explain to visitors how to find the specific block, as the layout can be a little confusing if you aren’t from around here. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so the windows stay open to catch whatever breeze comes off the surroundings. We don’t really do much in the way of decorating. A few calendars on the wall and some pens scattered around is about the extent of it. It’s a practical place to work, and it serves us well for what we do every day without much fuss.
