Little Star Playgroup And Day Care Center is situated in F-17 / 02 of the Om Shree Krishna CHS, which is on Plot No 14 in Sector No 22, Kopar Khairane. Since we are inside a residential society, it feels a lot more like a home than a school. We have a couple of rooms that we have filled with toys, mats, and small chairs for the little ones. The walls are painted with bright colors, though some of it is peeling a bit near the corners. We spend our days looking after toddlers and older kids whose parents are at work in Navi Mumbai. There is a small area for them to nap and another spot where they sit to eat their tiffins. It gets very lively in the mornings when the parents drop them off. We don't have a big playground, so the kids mostly play inside or in the common area of the building under our watch. The kitchen area is used for warming up food. We are a small team of local ladies who manage everything. It is not a corporate daycare with fancy software; we just keep a diary for each child to note down what they ate or when they slept. Most of the families who use our service live right here in Sector 22. It is a busy, happy little place that stays quite noisy until the evening pick-up time.
