Le Spalon Spa Academy

The academy is located in Shop Number 12 at Konark Tower. If you know Ganpati Karkana Road in Thane West, we are easy to spot. We are specifically tucked away in the Ghantali area, which is a bit quieter than the main highway. A good landmark is the Three Petrol Pump; we are right behind that. We spend most of our time teaching and working with students who want to learn the trade. It’s a busy place with a lot of practice going on. There’s always someone practicing a massage technique or learning how to handle spa equipment. We started this because we saw a lot of people wanting to get into this line of work around Thane. The tower itself is well-known, so people don’t usually get lost. We have a few rooms set up for different types of training. It’s not a polished corporate office. There are posters on the walls and chairs moved around to make space for lessons. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon when things settle down. The neighborhood has that old Thane feel to it. People walk their dogs past the shop and we know the guys at the petrol pump quite well. We’ve been here long enough that we feel part of the brick and mortar of the street. It’s just a place for learning and getting better at the craft, one day at a time without any fuss.
