Larsen & Toubro Ltd is based right here in Room No 4 of Krishna Patil Chawl No 4 in Thane. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when everyone is rushing around the neighborhood. The office isn't anything fancy, just a room where we get things done every day. Maharashtra heat can be tough during the summer, but we have a fan that works most of the time to keep us going. Sometimes the neighbors from the other rooms come by to chat or borrow a tool. You’ll find us here most days from early morning until the sun goes down. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but they hold up well enough for what we need. We’ve been at this address for a while now and it feels like home even if it’s just a place for work. Outside, the street is always full of people and the occasional stray dog looking for some shade. We keep our files organized on some old metal shelves in the corner. It gets a bit cramped when more than three people are inside at once, but we make it work. Lunch usually involves someone bringing a dabba from home and sharing it on the main table. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy, just the door. It’s a quiet life here mostly, focused on the tasks at hand without making a big fuss about things. We know the chai wallah around the corner pretty well.
