Sitson India Pvt. Ltd. is based at W-76 in the M.I.D.C. Phase-II area of Dombivli East. Being in the industrial zone means we are surrounded by other factories and workshops, so it’s never quiet. There is always the sound of machinery or trucks moving in the background. Our unit is pretty functional. We have a front office area that’s mostly for paperwork and a large back area for the actual work. It’s a bit hot in the afternoons, but we have enough fans going to keep it bearable. We aren't the type of company to have a lot of glossy brochures. Most of our visitors are people we’ve known for years who just stop by the gate. We follow a pretty set routine every day. We start early to beat the worst of the heat and try to get the heavy lifting done before lunch. The MIDC roads can be a bit rough, especially during the monsoon, but we’re used to navigating the potholes by now. We just focus on keeping the machines running and the orders moving out on time. It’s a lot of manual coordination and making sure everyone knows their task for the day. We’ve built a solid little team here and we just keep plugging away at it. It’s hard work, but we find a way to get it all done.
