Down here on the ground floor of MBC Park in Thane West, things stay pretty busy. We’re in the E building, and you can usually hear us before you see us. Eram Engineers is where we spend most of our waking hours. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always trucks moving around and people shouting over the noise of the machines. We do a lot of technical work, mostly fixing parts or making sure the gear for other companies is running right. The floor is concrete and usually has a few oil spots here and there that never quite go away. We aren't big on decorations. Our desks are covered in blueprints, half-empty tea cups, and old coffee mugs. Sometimes the air conditioning in the office part struggles when it’s hot outside, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We have a small crew, mostly guys who have been doing this since they were kids. We take on all sorts of engineering jobs, some small, some that take us weeks to figure out. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s steady work. Thane has changed a lot since we started, with more buildings popping up, but we’re still here doing the same things every day on Ghodbunder Road. We just want to make sure the parts we send out don’t break down when they are needed most.
