Deep Gaurav Photography

Deep Gaurav Photography is based out of my home in Sairam A Wing at Gokuldham Societykopri Colony. It is on the third floor in room 310 and that is where I keep all my cameras and the computer for editing the photos. I didn't want to rent a big studio because most of my work happens at weddings or events around the city anyway. When I am not out taking pictures I am usually sitting here going through hundreds of images to find the ones that look the best. The room is often a mess with bags and tripods leaning against the walls. My family sometimes complains about the space I take up but they understand it is how I make a living. I have been taking photos since I was a teenager and finally decided to do it as a business a few years ago. I don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what I do. I just try to capture the people as they are without making them pose too much in ways that feel awkward. Sometimes the lighting at the venues is bad so I have to work harder to make the shots look clear. It is a lot of long hours standing up but I enjoy seeing the look on people's faces when they see their prints for the first time. I just do my best with every roll and every digital file I open.
