Our office, Knowledge Community.Com(India)Private Limited, is actually inside a residential area. We are at B/25 in the Audumber Co-Op. Housing Society. It is tucked away in Tukaram Nagar, right on Ayre Road in Dombivli East. It’s a bit different working from a housing society because you see kids playing outside and neighbors drying their laundry while you are trying to finish your emails. Dombivli 421201 is a busy suburb, and the commute for some of us is quite long on the local trains. The office itself is quite simple. We have a few computers and bookshelves filled with various things. Since it’s a private limited company focused on knowledge, we spend a lot of time reading and typing. The vibe is very quiet compared to the main road. Sometimes the secretary of the society comes by to chat, and we have to keep our voices down during meetings so we don't bother the residents next door. It’s an honest way to work, being right in the middle of a community like this. We don't have a big sign outside or a glass front. It’s just a flat that we have turned into a workspace. Most of the people around here know us as the guys who work on the ground floor. It feels more like a home than a stiff office, which is nice when the work gets heavy. We just keep our heads down and get the daily tasks done.
