Iit Junction

Iit Junction is in Bedekar Sadan on Kelkar Road in Dombivli East. It’s an old-style building, the kind you see a lot of in this part of Thane. We are right opposite Subhash Dairy, which is a landmark everyone in the area knows well. Sometimes you can smell the fresh milk and sweets from across the road when the wind blows the right way. Kelkar Road is quite narrow and gets very congested during the morning and evening peaks. We’ve been here for a bit, and we’re used to the sounds of the neighborhood. The building has a bit of a vintage feel, with its old stairs and heavy wooden doors. Inside, our rooms are basic. We have a few benches for students and a small desk where we keep our registers. The lighting isn't the brightest, but it does the job for us. We don’t have any air conditioning, just the ceiling fans that hum all day long. It’s a very local vibe here. Most of our visitors are from the nearby residential buildings in Dombivli. They walk over or come on their cycles. We spend our time organizing the day and talking to people who drop in to ask questions about our work. There’s no fancy marketing or polished reception, just us in a room in an old building, doing the work we need to do. It’s simple and honest.
