Basics Tutorials is located on the first floor of the Hansraj Building right at Tilak Chowk. This is in the heart of Kalyan City which gets very crowded especially during the day. We are directly opposite the Tilak Chowk Post Office so it is hard to miss us if you are in the area. The building is an older one and the stairs can be a bit steep. Inside we have a few rooms set up for teaching. We chose the name because we really just focus on the basic subjects that students often find difficult. Thane 421301 is a busy district and there are lots of students around here looking for extra help. We don't have air conditioning or fancy chairs but we have enough lights and fans to keep things comfortable while we work. The sounds of the traffic from Tilak Chowk come through the windows but we don't mind it much anymore. We spend our time checking homework and explaining things from the textbooks. It is a straightforward operation without any marketing tricks. Parents from Kalyan stop by after they finish their work at the post office to check on their children's progress. We keep a simple log of who comes and goes. It is just a regular part of life here in Kalyan City where we try to be useful.
