Our place is right near the Vartak Nagar bus stop in Thane. It is a busy corner of Mahatma Phule Nagar. Working with leather like we do at Kleenox Leathers Private Limited means there is always a specific smell in the air around the office and storage area. It is a heavy, earthy scent that you get used to after a couple of days. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the hides and making sure everything is stored properly so it doesn't get ruined by the humidity. The office is located at number 1 Nehru Nagar. It is not a flashy building by any means. It’s just a solid place where we can do our work. We have a small crew and we have all been working together for a while now. We don't spend money on fancy brochures or big ads. Most people find out about us just by word of mouth or seeing our sign near the bus stop. Dealing with leather is tough work and it can be messy. Our desks are usually covered in samples and swatches of different colors. Sometimes the shipments arrive late at night and we have to stay to get them unloaded. It is just the way this business works. We keep our heads down and stay busy with the orders that come in.
