Barakath Exports

Our office is right on Road Number 6, just opposite A/26, and if you know this area, you know how busy it gets with all the vehicles moving through. We’ve been at this spot for a good while now, mostly handling the export side of things for Barakath Exports. It’s not a fancy place by any means. It’s a working office where we deal with a lot of boxes and even more paperwork. Sometimes the street gets blocked by trucks, and we have to wait a bit to get anything moved, but that’s just how it goes here. Most days start early with checking emails and making sure everything that was supposed to ship out actually did. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that because we’re usually too busy in the back or on the phone. The light in the office is a bit dim in the corners, but we’ve got used to it over the years. We know most of the people on the road, from the chai wallah to the guys at the other units. It’s a practical setup for us. We don't spend money on expensive furniture or decorations because it doesn't really matter for the kind of work we do. As long as the orders are correct and the transport is on time, we’re satisfied. It’s a lot of back-and-forth with the docks and the suppliers, but we keep at it every day.
