Gd Export

Gd Export is based out of Shop Number 128 in the Hussain Arcade. The building is Number 1015, located in New Gauripada. This is over in the Samru Baugh area of Bhiwandi. If you have been to Bhiwandi, you know it is all about the warehouses and the trucks. Our shop is just one of many in the arcade. It is a practical space, mostly filled with samples and boxes that need to go out. The floors are concrete and we have heavy metal shutters that we roll up every morning. It gets quite dusty because of all the construction and the lorries passing by on the main road. We do not have a fancy sign, just the name on the door. Most of the time, we are busy on the phone or walking over to the godowns nearby. The heat in Bhiwandi can be tough, so we have a couple of big pedestal fans that stay on all day. There is a lot of tea drinking while we wait for the transporters to arrive. We do not really do the whole corporate meeting thing. We just talk over the counter or while standing in the hallway. It is a hardworking environment where everyone is trying to move their goods as fast as possible. The arcade gets crowded in the evenings when everyone is trying to finish their loads. We just keep our heads down and do our bit of the export work.
