We are based in Ghatkopar East, right in the R B Mehta Nagar area. Our office is in the Ganesh Chhyaya building, specifically on the first floor of the O Wing-1. It is a busy part of Mumbai City, and there is always some noise from the street coming through the windows. We handle iron and steel yard operations, which means a lot of paperwork regarding weights, measurements, and truck schedules. The office is pretty small and we have about eighty flats in this complex, so it’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes. We have desks piled high with ledgers because we still like to keep track of things on paper as well as the computer. It isn't a polished corporate environment with glass walls. It’s more of a place where people wear practical clothes and drink tea while arguing about delivery dates. The iron and steel business is tough and the prices change all the time, which keeps us on our toes. We spend a lot of time coordinating with the yards where the actual metal is stored. Getting around Ghatkopar can be a bit of a struggle during rush hour, so we mostly stay put in the office during the day. We are just regular people working in the steel trade, trying to keep the records straight and the customers satisfied without making a big fuss about it. It’s a bit cramped and noisy, but it is home for our business.
