Viraj Enterprises

Viraj Enterprises is found on Road No. 16, right near the petrol pump and across from S.G.S.Co. in Thane West. Being in an industrial zone means there is always a lot of noise. You hear the trucks rumbling by and the sound of horns all day. Our shop is packed with all kinds of supplies and hardware. We have shelves that are a bit disorganized, but we can find whatever you’re looking for if you give us a minute. The floor is grey stone and it gets quite dirty from all the boots coming in and out. We keep a small radio on the shelf that mostly plays old songs. It helps pass the time when we’re counting inventory. Thane gets very humid, so the air inside can feel a bit heavy sometimes. We have a large metal shutter that we pull down every evening. It’s a lot of work to keep things moving, especially when two deliveries arrive at the same time. We don’t have a fancy office or a receptionist. Usually, you’ll just find me or one of the staff members in the back moving crates. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while, so we’ve seen all the neighboring businesses change hands. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. It’s a basic, honest way to make a living. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit, but we’re used to it by now.
