Jkh Exports

We are based right in the middle of the APMC Complex in Vashi. If you’ve ever been to Market I in Phase II, you know how chaotic it can get. Jkh Exports is at unit B-62. It’s a busy place with trucks coming in at all hours of the night and morning. We deal with a lot of goods that go out of the country. The air in Sector 19 always smells like spices or produce depending on what’s being unloaded next door. Our office is small and usually smells like coffee. We have stacks of shipping documents and customs forms on every flat surface. It’s a lot of coordination. You have to talk to the drivers, the warehouse guys, and the shipping agents all at once. Sometimes things get delayed at the port and everyone gets a bit stressed, but we manage. We aren't some corporate giant in a glass tower. We are right here in the dust and the heat of the market. We've got a couple of computers that have seen better days but they still work okay. Most of our day is spent checking weights and making sure the containers are ready. It's not glamorous work. It’s mostly just making sure things get from point A to point B without too many headaches. We've been at the APMC for a long time now and we know how the system works. It is loud and crowded, but it is our home.
