Jack Jill Playgroup Nursery

We are based on the ground floor, taking up flats one through four here in Kandivali East near Nalasopara. It is a busy area with lots of families. We set up this playgroup and nursery because there was a need for a place that was not too formal. The rooms are filled with toys, small chairs, and drawings pinned to the walls. It is never really quiet here until the kids go home. We spend a lot of our time making sure the floors are clean and that everything is safe for the little ones. It is a bit of a maze between the four flats, but we have managed to connect them in a way that works for the different age groups. Sometimes the toddlers make a mess with the snacks, but that is part of the job. We are not a big chain of schools. We are just local people looking after local kids. The parents usually live in the same building or just down the street. We know everyone’s name and which kid likes which toy. It is a lot of physical work, bending down and cleaning up, but it is what we do. We do not have a fancy website or a marketing team. Most people just see the sign on the ground floor or hear about us from a neighbor. It is a simple, honest place where kids can just be kids.
