You can find Jabsons Foods at Shrinathji, which is Plot No.4 in Sector-14 of Vashi. We’re tucked right behind the petrol pump, which actually makes it quite easy for people to find us if they’re ever lost. Vashi is a good place to be based, very organized and easy to get around. Our office is in Block-2. It’s usually smelling like whatever we happen to be working on that day, which can be quite nice. Food is a busy business to be in, and there’s never really a quiet moment from Monday to Saturday. We’ve got a small team here, and everyone usually ends up wearing many different hats. One minute you’re on the phone with a supplier, and the next you’re out back helping someone move a heavy pallet. It’s definitely not a place for wearing suits and ties. We just wear whatever is comfortable because things get busy and physical. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is a real blessing during those hot summer months. We’ve been in this exact spot for a long while now. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses, and we all get along pretty well. We don't do much in the way of advertising; word of mouth has always been plenty for us. Sometimes we have to stay late when a big order comes in at the last minute, but that's just the nature of the job. It’s a decent place with good people. We just try to keep things moving along smoothly every single day.
