Industrial Merchant Exim India is tucked away in A-8 Phase-ii of Vijay Paradise in Gokhivare, Vasai East. It is a bit of a drive to get out here, but it gives us the space we need to operate. We are not a huge operation with hundreds of employees running around. It is just a smaller group of us handling the import and export side of things. The office is functional. We have desks, some chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of shipping logs stacked up. Most of our work involves coordinating between manufacturers and people who need the goods. It sounds simple, but there are always little hiccups along the way. A boat is late, or a document is missing a stamp—that is our daily life here. We spend a lot of time in Gokhivare just making sure things do not get stuck for too long. Vasai East has grown a lot since we started, and it has become a hub for businesses like ours. We do not bother with fancy branding or polished websites. We would rather spend that time making sure a container is not sitting on a dock somewhere collecting extra fees. It is a practical business for practical people. We take our lunches together when we can and try to keep the atmosphere relaxed, even when the pressure is on. It is just a normal day at the office for us, doing what we do.
