Kj Impex

Kj Impex is located over in Ghatkopar East. We are in A 202 at Kailash Plaza. If you know Vallabh Baug Lane, you know it gets really crowded during the day. There are so many shops and people everywhere. Our office is up on the second floor. It’s a good space, maybe a bit cramped when we have a big shipment coming through, but we make it work. We have a lot of shelves against the walls. The air conditioning struggles a bit in the summer heat, but we have fans too. Most of the staff lives nearby, so we don't have to deal with long commutes. We start early most days to beat the worst of the heat. There’s always a stack of papers on the main table. We spend a lot of time making calls to vendors and checking on shipping dates. It’s not a quiet office, someone is always talking. We use the stairs mostly because wait times for the lift can be long in Kailash Plaza. It’s a lively building with a lot of different trades going on. We share the floor with a few other businesses. Sometimes we grab lunch together at one of the spots on the lane. It’s just how we operate. We don't have a marketing department or anything. We just do the work and go home. We hope to stay here for a long time because the location is very convenient for everyone. It can be tiring by the end of the week, but that is just the nature of the business in a place like this.
