Indo Amines Ltd.

Our place is W-38/39 in the MIDC area, Phase-II. That is on Manpada Road in Dombivli. It is a big industrial zone. We are not in a shiny city office. We are right there where the manufacturing work happens. We make amines and other chemical products. The air always has a bit of a sharp smell, which is just part of the job when you work here. We have big tanks and pipes all over the site. It is not a place for visitors really. Most of us wear uniforms and safety gear all day long. The sun can be quite brutal on the shop floor, so we drink a lot of lemon water to stay hydrated. We have been here for a long time. The roads around MIDC are always being dug up for something or the other, so getting here can be a bit of a bumpy ride in the morning. We have a small canteen where we all eat together. It is a lot of hard work and staying focused on the batches we are running. We do not have any big slogans. We just follow the process and get the orders filled. Most of the guys live in the nearby colonies, so we are all locals. It is a steady place to work. We do not have a lot of meetings; we just know what needs to be done. The machinery is loud, but you get used to it.
