We have been here at 252-D, Amar Gian Industrial Estate for a long time now. It is on L.B.S. Marg, right Opp.S.T.Work Shop, in Khopat, Thane(West). The name of the place is Hemaki Lab-Services Pvt. Ltd., but we usually just shorten it when we are talking among ourselves. Every morning, we unlock the door and check our schedule. The industrial estate is always humming with activity, which keeps things interesting. Our space is not very big, but it is enough for the equipment we use and the few of us who work here. We are not the type of company that has a big human resources department or a fancy lobby. We just have our work area and a small place to sit during breaks. At Hemaki Lab-Services Pvt. Ltd., we do not use a lot of technical jargon when we talk to people. We just explain things simply. It is more about getting the job done right than looking important. Sometimes the machines need a bit of extra attention, or the commute on L.B.S. Marg is a nightmare, but we manage. We have been here in Thane for a while and know the area pretty well. We do not do much in terms of advertising. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they saw our sign in the estate. We just keep doing our thing every day. It is a quiet, steady life for us here at the lab.
