H C Goyal Associates

H C Goyal Associates is tucked away in the Dimple Arcade, right behind the Sai building in Kandivali East. It is a very busy corner of Mumbai. If you have been to the arcade, you know it can be a bit of a maze with all the different shops and small offices. We are at number 108. It is a small space, filled with files and books and probably too many pens that do not work anymore. We spend a lot of our time here, especially during the busier months of the year. The sounds of the city are always there in the background, but inside, we just focus on the paperwork. We have been in Kandivali for a long time now. Some of our neighbors in the building have changed, but we are still here in the same spot. It is a humble office. We do not have a receptionist or a fancy waiting lounge with glossy magazines. If someone comes by to see us, they just pull up a stool or wait for a minute while we finish a phone call. It is a very practical way of doing things. We know the local tea stall guy well, and he brings us chai twice a day. That is usually the best part of the afternoon. We do not have big goals of taking over the world. We just want to do our jobs well and go home to our families.
