Gjco

Gjco is located in Gautam Center, specifically at A2-10 in Kopri Colony. Being on the Thane (East) side makes it a bit different from the busier western parts of the city. It’s a bit more relaxed here, though the commute can still be a bit of a struggle for some of us in the mornings. The office itself is quite small. We’ve got our desks pushed close together and there’s always a stack of papers somewhere that needs filing. We’ve been here for a while and the building has seen better days, but it’s our space and it works for us. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. It’s mostly just office work, keeping track of accounts and talking to people on the phone. Sometimes we go downstairs to the local stalls for a quick snack or some tea when the afternoon slump hits. Kopri is a nice community and we’ve gotten to know the other people working in Gautam Center pretty well. We aren’t trying to change the world or anything like that. We just want to make sure the work we do is correct and that we finish everything on time. The windows don’t always shut perfectly, so we hear the street noise, but it’s just background sound to us now. It’s a humble setup, but it works for what we need. We’re just regular people trying to keep a small business going in Thane.
