Our office for Gentex Building Materials is located in Airoli, Navi Mumbai. We are specifically over in Sector 15 at Akshay Apartment, building C/12. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but for us, it’s home. The UAE part of the name is there because of our connections, but the day-to-day work happens right here in Maharashtra. We deal with a lot of heavy stuff like bricks, cement, steel, and all those things that go into making a building. Our desks are usually covered in invoices and delivery schedules. It's not the cleanest or quietest job in the world. We're constantly on the phone with suppliers or trying to figure out where a truck has gone. Sector 15 is a decent area, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the place. We aren't some big-shot executives. We’re more likely to be found wearing dusty boots than a tie. The apartment complex is mostly residential, so we try to keep things respectful while we run the business. It’s a practical setup for a practical industry. We don't have a lot of time for fluff or long meetings. We just want to make sure the materials get to where they need to go. We've been in Navi Mumbai for a good stretch now and we know the local markets well. It's hard work, but we wouldn't have it any other way.
