Free Lance Consulting

I run my consulting business from my apartment in Casuarina, which is part of the Evershine Greens complex on New Link Road. Being in Andheri West means it’s always lively outside, but inside A 202, it’s mostly just me and my laptop. I’ve been in Mumbai for a long time, and I like the pace here. My work involves a lot of reading and writing reports for different clients who need an outside perspective. I don't have a big staff or a front desk. When you call, you just get me. I usually have a cup of chai on the desk and a stack of papers that I need to sort through. The view from the window is okay, though the traffic on New Link Road can get pretty loud during rush hour. I find that working from home suits me better than commuting to a downtown office every day. People sometimes ask what exactly I consult on, and it really depends on the day and the client's needs. I just try to be helpful and get the job done right. It's a straightforward way to earn a living. I don't go for the fancy business suits unless I absolutely have to for a meeting. Mostly, I'm just here in my comfortable chair, working through whatever project is currently on the screen. It's a modest setup but it works well for the kind of advice I provide.
