Our shop is over in Mira Road, which is part of the Thane district but feels like its own world. We are in Suveeda Tower, specifically Shop Number 08B. It’s a ground-floor spot in a co-operative housing society. Being in a shop means we get people walking by all the time, looking in to see what we are doing. We are an export business, so we aren't really selling things over the counter to people on the street. Most of our work is on the phone or the computer. Mira Road is a very crowded and lively place. There’s always music playing or people shouting outside. It keeps us energized while we work. The shop isn't very big, so we have to be organized with our files and equipment. We’ve been here for a while and we like the convenience of being on the ground floor. It makes it easier for couriers to drop off and pick up documents. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s just us working through the daily list of exports. We have some tea, talk about the day's tasks, and try to get everything shipped on time. It’s a practical, local business. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. If you come by, you'll see a small group of people working hard in a small space. That’s just how we operate.
