Eastern Overseas Ltd

We are located in the T.T.C Industrial Area, which is part of the Midc. Our specific spot is Plot No.32-A. It’s a large industrial zone and it takes a while to drive in from the main road because of all the trucks and potholes. Eastern Overseas Ltd is basically a place where we manage overseas trade. We have a warehouse attached to the office, so there’s a lot of loading and unloading going on throughout the day. It’s a busy atmosphere and you have to watch where you’re walking because of the forklifts. We don't have any fancy decorations in the office. It’s mostly just metal desks and some old calendars on the walls. We spend a lot of time checking shipping manifests and making sure the labels are right. It can be a bit tedious, but it’s important work. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big corporate image. We just want to get the products onto the ships on time. Sometimes the weather messes up the schedules and we have to reorganize everything at the last minute. That’s just the nature of this business. We have a small crew and we all pitch in where we can, whether it’s answering the phones or helping move a crate. It’s a practical way to run a business and it’s served us well enough over the years we’ve been here. It’s mostly just hard work and patience.
