Chartered Accountant

My office is over in Azadnagar Sandoz Baug, which is right on Kolshet Road in Thane W 400607. Most days I am just sitting here at a desk that is usually covered in too many papers and old folders. It is a bit of a mess sometimes but I know where everything is. Kolshet Road can get pretty noisy with the traffic and the construction that never seems to stop around here. People know me as the local Chartered Accountant. I spend a lot of time looking at spreadsheets and trying to make sense of tax laws that seem to change every other week. It is not the most exciting job but it keeps me busy and the bills paid. The room gets a bit warm in the afternoons when the sun hits the window, so the fan is always on high. I have been in this spot for a while now. Neighbors from the colony often drop in just to say hello or ask a quick question about their filings. It is a regular routine. I usually have a cup of tea around four o’clock while I finish up the last few emails for the day. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow which is frustrating but you get used to it. The walk to the main road is short enough. It is just a simple workplace where I get things done and try to help folks out with their numbers. Nothing fancy here, just a plain office in a busy part of Thane.
