We operate out of the Asiatic Commercial Arcade on Pokhran Road No. 1 in Vartak Nagar. Specifically, we’re on the first floor of buildings 2 and 3, at number 42. It’s a busy commercial complex with a lot of different trades going on. At Brink Chemicals, we handle the administrative and trading side of things from this office. It’s not a factory where things are being brewed; it’s more about the logistics, the orders, and the samples. We have shelves full of folders and small bottles of chemical samples that we show to people. The office can get a bit cluttered with all the paperwork that comes with this industry. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and customers. The arcade has a lot of movement, people going up and down the stairs all day. We’ve been in this Vartak Nagar spot for a good while, so the neighbors know us. Our desks are old-fashioned, and we don't have any of those modern open-plan layouts. It’s just a series of rooms where we get the work done. Sometimes the electricity cuts out for a bit, or the lift is being serviced, so we just take the stairs. It’s an unpretentious place. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. We just focus on the chemical trade and making sure our records are accurate and our clients get what they asked for.
