Asif Plastic

Asif Plastic is located right in the middle of Mumbra village. It is a bit of a walk from the main Thane area, but this is where we have set up our small operation. We are very close to the Darul Pala Masjid, which is how most people find us if they get lost in the narrow streets. The village life here is quite fast, with a lot of people moving around all the time. Our workshop is a plain place where we deal with all kinds of plastic materials. It isn't a silent job; the machines make a fair bit of noise and it can get pretty warm inside during the summer months. We don't have any polished showrooms or anything like that. It is just a concrete floor, some heavy tools, and our stock piled up against the walls. We wake up early to beat the heat and get a head start on the orders. Being in Tehsil Thane means we see all sorts of folk coming through. We mostly just focus on getting the plastic pieces right and making sure they are ready when someone comes to pick them up. It is honest work and it keeps the lights on. Sometimes we share tea with the neighbors near the mosque when the afternoon lull hits. It is just a simple life here in the post office area of Mumbra, doing what we know how to do best with the tools we have.
