You can find Amit Tutorials in Kandivali East, right in Sadhana Nagar. We are located right next to Sardar Vinay School, so a lot of students just walk over to us as soon as their morning bells ring. It’s a small place, just a couple of rooms that we’ve converted into a study area. We have been teaching here for a while now, and most of the parents in the neighborhood know our names. We don't use any fancy technology or expensive software. We just use chalk, boards, and lots of paper. It gets quite crowded in the evenings when the older students come in for their sessions. We try to keep things orderly, but with twenty kids in a room, it’s always a bit lively. We focus on the regular school syllabus, helping them get through their exams without too much stress. The walls are covered with old calendars and some student drawings. We don't have any big slogans or missions. We just show up every day, open the shutters, and start teaching. Sometimes we have to stay late to help a student who is struggling with a particular chapter, but that’s part of the job. It’s a local spot for local kids, and we like it that way. The walk from the station isn't too long, and we are right in the middle of the residential block, so it feels very much like a community thing.
