If you go down PH Road in Maduravoyal, you can find our shop near the HDFC Bank. It is a busy stretch of road and sometimes finding a place to park is a real headache for our visitors. We have been running Care Computer And Laptop Accessories for a bit now. The name is long, but the shop itself is actually quite small and filled with stuff. We mostly keep things like chargers, keyboards, and those little adapters that people always seem to lose or break at the worst time. We have cardboard boxes stacked up in the corners because there is never enough shelf space for everything we carry. Dealing with laptop repairs takes up most of our afternoon. It gets pretty hot in the shop during the summer months, but we have a small ceiling fan that keeps us going while we work. Most of our customers are just people living nearby who need a quick fix for their home PC or a new mouse. We don't do any real advertising; people just see our sign when they are going to the bank or stuck in the heavy traffic on PH Road. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool for a bit when it’s quiet and the sun goes down. We have seen Maduravoyal change a lot over the years, but the demand for computer parts stays about the same. It is a lot of work testing cables and checking batteries, but it keeps us busy.
