You can find Surya Chandra Brick Industry over at 25-77 on Eluru Road in Dubacharla. Being on Eluru Road means there is always a lot of traffic passing by, mostly trucks and motorcycles. We have a large open area because you need a lot of space for bricks. The sun beats down on the yard quite a bit, which is good for drying things out but hard on the workers. We’ve been operating in Dubacharla for a good many years now. It’s a family-style environment where everyone knows what their job is. We don't have a big fancy office with air conditioning. Instead, we have a small room with a fan and some old ledgers. Most of our day is spent outside checking the piles and talking to the drivers who come in and out. It’s a bit of a messy job, but someone has to do it. The dust from the road and the bricks gets everywhere, but you get used to it after a week or two. We just try to keep things moving along. There isn't much to say about us other than we work hard and stay at our post. We like being part of the local scene here on Eluru Road. It’s a simple life, really. We just make sure the bricks are where they need to be and that the business stays afloat for another day. Nothing complicated about it.
