Mha Maya Computers

If you are walking down Brahma Road, you will probably pass right by us at 15/198. It’s a bit of a narrow spot, but we’ve made it work for Mahamaya Computer over the years. We spend a lot of time looking at motherboards and trying to recover files that people thought were gone forever. The shop has a specific smell of solder and old plastic, which I guess is normal for a place like this. We aren't trying to be one of those fancy showrooms you see in the big cities. It is just a workspace where we get things done. Sometimes the tea stall guy brings us a cup while we are mid-repair. People from around the neighborhood stop in to ask questions about why their printer is jamming again or how to make their old desktop run a bit faster. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know our way around a CPU. The traffic on Brahma Road can get pretty backed up in the afternoons, so we usually use that time to catch up on the backlog of repairs sitting on the shelf. It’s a lot of manual work, plugging and unplugging things until we find the problem. We don't use any fancy scripts when we talk to people; we just explain what’s broken and how we can try to fix it. It's just a regular shop doing regular work for the local community.
