Zalak Family Salon

Zalak Family Salon is up on the first floor of Swastik Plaza, in Shop No. F-3. We are located in Punagam, near the Yogi Chowk area of Varachha. It is a busy part of Surat, but since we are on the first floor, it’s a little bit removed from the noise of the street. We handle hair for the whole family, so we see kids, their parents, and older folks too. The shop is a bit larger than some of the other places around here. We have several chairs and enough space for people to sit while they wait. The floor is easy to clean, which is good because we get a lot of hair on it throughout the day. We have some basic decorations on the walls and the mirrors are quite large. Most people come to us from the Varachha area because it is easy to reach Yogi Chowk. We don't have any corporate branding or fancy uniforms. We just wear our regular clothes and get to work. It’s a practical place for people who need their hair done without spending a lot of money or time. We have been in Swastik Plaza for some time and we have a good relationship with the other shop owners. It’s a hardworking neighborhood and we try to match that energy. We stay open late most nights because that is when the families have time to visit.
