Khushboo Beauty Parlour

Khushboo Beauty Parlour is located right near the police chowki in the Palanpur Patia area of Surat. We are close to Hidayat Nagar, which is a very busy part of the neighborhood. I decided to start this shop because there weren't many places nearby where local women could get their hair or beauty work done without traveling far. Our shop is not fancy and we don't have expensive equipment or designer chairs. It is just a small, practical space where we work hard every day. We do things like threading, waxing, and basic haircuts for the people around here. Since the police station is right there, it makes a great landmark and nobody ever gets lost looking for us. We get customers from all over the local area. Some days it is very quiet and we just sit and talk, but other days we are on our feet from morning until night. We don't have a website or do any online advertising at all. Most of our business comes from people seeing our sign on the street or hearing about us from their family members. It’s a very traditional way of running a business. We’ve been here for several years now and have seen many changes in Palanpur Patia. The shop can get quite warm during the peak of summer, but we keep the fan running to stay cool. We know most of the families around here and it feels good to be part of the community.
