If you go down towards Ellora Park in Vadodara 2, you’ll find us in the Rander area. Yash Electronics is usually pretty easy to spot because we often have a few old television sets or broken appliances sitting near the doorway. Inside, it’s a bit of a mess of wires, circuit boards, and spare parts. I try to keep things organized, but when you’re fixing things all day, tools just end up wherever there is space. The workbench is covered in solder marks and little screws that I really should put in jars. It’s not a shiny showroom by any means. People bring in their radios, fans, and other gadgets hoping we can make them work again. Sometimes it’s just a loose wire, other times it’s more complicated. I like the challenge of figuring out why something stopped spinning or lighting up. The Rander area gets quite lively in the evenings, and we usually have the shop lights on until late. We don't really do much talking, mostly just focusing on the repairs. My hands usually have a bit of grease on them or some small cuts from the metal casings. It’s just a regular electronics shop in Vadodara. We’ve been at this for a while now and most of the locals know they can just drop their stuff off and we’ll take a look at it when we can. It is a very simple place with no big fuss made.
