Yash Clinic

We are at number 59 in the Shiv Shakti Society, which is in the Bhathena area. Yash Clinic is right across the street from Tara Vidhyalay, so we hear the school bell ringing all day long. It is actually quite nice hearing the kids playing during their break times. Shiv Shakti Society is a quiet enough place once you get off the main path. Our door is usually open to let the breeze through, though in the rainy season we have to keep it shut tight so the water doesn't splash in from the road. The interior is just basic stuff, a couple of wooden chairs and a table where we keep our registers. We have a small clock on the wall that is always five minutes fast, but we never bother to fix it because it helps us stay on schedule. Bhathena is a tight-knit community and we see a lot of familiar faces walking past the clinic every day on their way to the school or the local market. The light in the office is a bit bright, but it helps us see what we are doing. We have a small area for people to wait, and we try to keep it clean, though the kids from the school sometimes leave wrappers near the entrance. It is just a normal, everyday part of the neighborhood where we feel right at home.
