National Mobile Care

We’ve been here in Udhna for a good while now. Most days it’s just us behind the counter at National Mobile Care, dealing with whatever phone comes through the door. Sometimes it’s a screen that’s completely shattered because someone dropped it on the pavement outside, and other times it’s just a battery that won’t hold a charge anymore. People around here know where to find us. It gets pretty loud on the street sometimes, especially in the afternoons, but we just keep working. We see all kinds of people, from students looking for a cheap charger to older folks who can't figure out why their WhatsApp stopped working. There is always something to do. Usually, we have a bit of tea in the morning and start checking the parts we have in stock. If we don’t have what you need, we try to get it, but sometimes things take a day or two. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular shop with some tools and a lot of spare cables lying around. We try to be honest about what can be fixed and what’s probably just junk now. Electronics can be tricky, and we don’t pretend to know everything, but we’ve seen enough broken phones to handle most problems. The fans stay on all day because it gets stuffy in here. That's just how it is. We’re usually here until late evening when the traffic finally starts to thin out and the shops around us close up for the night.
