Vniktam Hospital

Vniktam Hospital is up on the first floor of Maher Park in A Block. It is right near the Mahavir Cardiac Hospital, so there is usually a lot of medical activity happening around the Athwa Gates area. To get to us, you have to head up the stairs or take the lift, which is a bit slow sometimes. The office isn't huge, but we made sure to fit everything we need into the space. The windows look out over the street, and you can see the cars and rickshaws piling up at the gates during the afternoon. We keep a few stacks of old newspapers and magazines on the table for people to look at while they wait. The flooring is that old-fashioned tile that stays cool even when it is hot outside. Our staff is mostly local folks who have been working in this part of town for years. We don't have any big signs or neon lights, just the name on the door and a small board downstairs. It can get a little cramped in the hallway when several people arrive at the same time, but we usually figure it out. The air conditioner works well enough, though it hums quite loudly when it's running on full power. It’s a basic setup, really. We just focus on getting through the appointments and making sure the files are put back in the right cabinets before we head home at night.
