Wockhardt Hospitals is located at 24, Athwa Lines in Surat. It’s right in the middle of Gujarat, and Athwa Lines is one of the more well-known areas in the city. The hospital building itself has been here for a long time. It’s a big place with lots of floors and hallways that can be a bit confusing if you don’t know your way around. We have doctors and nurses running around at all hours of the day and night. It’s never really quiet here. There is always the sound of machines or people talking in the corridors. We try to keep things as organized as possible, but in a hospital, things change every minute. The lobby is usually full of families waiting for news. It’s a lot of hard work for everyone on the staff. We aren't here to look pretty; we are here to take care of the people who come through the doors. The parking outside can be a real headache because it’s a busy street, but people manage. We have our cafeteria where the staff grabs quick meals between shifts. It’s a very busy environment, and sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming with the number of patients. But it’s just what we do every day. Athwa Lines is a good central spot, so people from all over Surat come here when they aren't feeling well or need to see a specialist.
