Vaibhav Beauty Palour sits in Shop Number 6 at Swastic Park. It’s on Ayodhya Nagari Road, right across from Shiwani Row House. If you know Palanpur Patia, you have probably passed by us a few times. The shop is small and simple. We focus on the basics like hair cutting and shaves. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us working the chairs most days. The neighborhood is mostly families, so we get a lot of fathers and sons coming in together. It gets a bit dusty on the road outside sometimes because of the construction nearby, but we try to keep the shop floor swept. We have a small bench outside for when there is a wait. Usually, it’s just a twenty-minute wait at most. We don't use fancy software for bookings; people just walk in or call my mobile. The mirror has a small crack in the corner that has been there forever, but it doesn’t get in the way of the work. We use standard products that people are familiar with. It is a straightforward business. We open early in the morning because that is when the men like to get their grooming done before heading to work. On Sundays, we are usually busy until lunch time. It is just a regular part of the street life here. We have been at this spot long enough that the address is basically a landmark for the delivery guys now.
