V Family Salon

V Family Salon is up on the second floor of the Citylight Shopping Center. Specifically, we are at Shop No 203. It is right on the Main Road of Citylight Road here in Surat. Being in a shopping center means there is always people walking past the windows. You can look down at the street and see all the cars and people going about their shopping. We have been here for a bit, and the space is comfortable enough for anyone who comes in. We have the hair wash stations in the back and the cutting chairs lined up along the wall. It gets a bit noisy when three blow dryers are going at the same time. The mall lights stay on all day, so it’s always bright inside the shop. We have some plants in the corner that we try to remember to water, though they look a bit sad sometimes. People usually come in after they’ve been walking around the other shops. It’s a mix of kids, parents, and everyone else who lives around Citylight. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just cut hair and do the salon stuff that people ask for. The floor is tile, so it's easy to clean, which is good because there is always hair everywhere. We just keep the routine going from morning till late evening. It is a steady place to work.
