Veloba Tiles Studio

We are located at number ninety-seven inside the Radhakrishna Industries complex. You have to drive down Um Road to find us. It’s an industrial area, so it’s mostly warehouses and small factories around here. Our tile studio isn't like the ones you see in big cities. It’s more of a working warehouse where we keep our samples and the main stock. We have a lot of different patterns and sizes of tiles leaning against the walls. It can get a bit cramped when we get a new shipment in. We spend a lot of time sweeping the floor because the tile dust gets everywhere. It’s just me and a couple of guys working here most days. We don’t wear suits or anything like that; usually just old jeans and t-shirts that we don't mind getting dirty. When a customer comes in, we just show them what’s available on the racks. We don’t have a big catalog, we just show them the real thing. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit by the big open door and wait for it to come back on. It’s a quiet way to run a business, but it works for us. We know the other people in the Radhakrishna complex, and we all help each other out when someone needs a hand moving something heavy. It’s just a normal day at the studio on Um Road.
