Ora Cables Pvt. Ltd. is located over in Surat, specifically at 222 New Industrial Estate on Road No. 6-e in Udhyognagar. Being in Udhna, we are right in the middle of a very busy part of town. Our building is always full of spools of wire and different types of cabling. You can usually hear the hum of the winding machines if you stand near the front door. It’s a practical workspace, not a showroom. We spend our time checking the insulation on the wires and making sure the lengths are right for whoever ordered them. The staff here has been with us for a long time, so we all know the routine pretty well by now. Road No. 6-e can get quite crowded with delivery vans, so we try to get our loading done early in the day when there is more room to move. We don't bother with those polished corporate speeches because we’re too busy actually making the cables. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Surat is a fast-growing place, and we see the changes every day, but our little corner of the industrial estate stays pretty much the same. We just focus on getting the orders filled and making sure the inventory stays stocked up. It’s a simple operation, run by people who actually know how cables are made. Sometimes the machines act up, and we spend the afternoon fixing them ourselves.
