We are located at A 5 in Udhnagam, down the Bhori Ali side. It’s a bit tucked away, but people who need bearings always find us eventually. The shop is basically floor-to-ceiling shelves. Thousands of little boxes, all sizes. If you need a specific number, we probably have it buried somewhere in the back. My hands are almost always a little oily from handling the parts. It’s a specific kind of business. You don’t get people just browsing; they come in because something broke and they need a replacement right now. I spend a lot of time looking through catalogs to match up sizes. It’s quiet work, mostly. The street outside is narrow, so it’s always a bit of a squeeze for the delivery vans when they arrive. We’ve been in this spot for a long time. The wooden counter is worn down from years of sliding heavy steel parts across it. I usually keep a small radio playing in the corner just for some background noise. It’s just me and one helper most days. We don’t bother with fancy displays or anything. If someone wants a bearing, they just ask, and I go find it. It’s a simple way to run a shop. Sometimes we chat with the other shopkeepers when things are slow. That’s about it for us. We just stay open until the sun goes down and then lock up the boxes and head home.
